Costumes, Make - Up and Prop ideas

The two t-shirts above is going to appear when the titles or credits come up.

They will be a plain black with turquoise and pink spray paint across the front with 'Sound of the Sirens'.  

 

 

Ideas for costume for Ronnie and Tabitha when we perform in our video. We have chosen these two different type of rocky and girly clothing because we wanted to show that you 'shouldn't judge a book by its cover' Although it's folk, soul based music, wearing different genre of music clothing:country and rock shows people its good to be different and mix/spice things up.

This guitar is an example of the instrument that we will be using in the music promo for Sound of the Sirens.  

 

This picture above is an idea that we all had for both performers. Its natural but with the black and blue eyeliners to gives the look that extra edge.

 

 

 

All of the pictures above and to the side are just some general ideas that I have. The ideas are all about the genre of folk music. The song that we are going to create a music video for, 'The Night Before' is the genre of folk and soul.
They use acoustic guitars and
other instruments like
                                                      Cavaquinho and Accordion.

The dress sense that the performers usually relates to the genre of music that they are going to perform. But in own case, we want to be different. We want to show people it good to be different

and tell the audience to  not judge a book by it's cover.

We have chosen the easy, realistic costumes to portray real life in the video.
The picture below is showing a summer blouse from the retail ship, Topshop. The blouse it light, airy and it will fit me just right.
The outfit is only going to be worn only before she go through the door/ wardrobe.
                         

The outfit above is for Chris and even though the picture is of the Internet, the picture is perfect because it shows masculinity, strengths as well as a great fit. This outfit is going to be worn when he gets introduce in the video and throughout when he is in the shot.

An alternative opinion would be this knitted jumper/dress from RI. Since the weather is a lot more colder than say in the summer months, the knitted opinion could be better and seem more realistic.

This coral blazer is light, fresh and breezy and will go with the colours in the blouse above.
