For example, Shannon and I (while Ronnie was in another lesson) went down to the music deptment and asked if we could borrow two Shure58 Dynamic Vocal Microphones with two stands. One is called on Boom Stand and one Straight stand. However, we couldn't get a hold of a Boom stand so the only stand that we could use are two Straight Stands.
We are using acoustic guitars as the only
instrument during the whole video. This is
because folk and soul music only use these
guitars in any performances. It suggest a
slower steady pace but also a smooth sound
instead of a electric guitar which is louder
and more boisterous.
The camera and the tripod are the most important pieces of equipment that we will be using during the shoot because without the camera, there will be not video in the first place and secondly the tripod is need from different shots (mid-shots, high-angle shot as well as panning) also used for steady shots so we can make the full video
