(SoftheS)   The main reason why she is so similar to the band is they share the same interest in the genre of music that they play, folk. Creating this video for SoftheS, will be a lot easier if we have amazing, talented inspirations like Gabrielle Aplin. This is because when I look at her videos, the lighting, camera shots, costume and voice all link in so nicely together it makes it so easy and in a way pleasant  to watch because the video is soft and warm.     The screen shot above is a brilliant example of how soft the colours are and how light and natural the lighting is. With the plants in the background as well as the neutral colour of the room, I think it gives the effect of trust and possible friendship. I think this because these thing should be related to light, breezy, natural colours not dull, dark and gloomy colours. Another thing that could show peace and comfort is that she is calm and seems gentle with her guitar. Her back is facing the audience so we can't see her identity and facial expressions so perhaps since this is the first shot of the video, she wants to get the idea of the setting and this will link into how the song might go.
